It's December 1989, and Wilkins, Tennessee native Jason Fry returns to wreak more havoc on the survivors, friends and families of the teenagers whom he killed in the first film. Fry is committed back to the Hillside Sanitarium for his brutal crimes, but he doesn't stay there long.
ReplyDeleteOverall, "The Bible Belt Slasher II: The Holy Terror" is not gonna go over well, but for many this is gonna be one of those bad movies that make its way to cult status. Oh and it happens during the Christmas holiday season so that is a nice additive. The music and soundtrack is the other element of this movie that works.
ReplyDeleteLord Battle - "This low budget slasher put in a pretty good effort to feature it's story in the 80's. You can hear John Carpenter and Goblin's influence in this awesome soundtrack. I wish the slasher would have gained some more back story after having been run over, or donned a mask, but I guess I'll just have to wait for part 3."3 Stars

ReplyDeleteI liked The Bible Belt Slasher 2: The Holy Terror! in a lot of ways regardless of its shortcomings. I enjoyed the story (which was without a doubt heavily influenced by Hallowee n) and thought that it was a nice throwback to the classic slasher flicks from the 80’s that I hold so near and dear to my heart.
