Before the Fire by Sarah Butler projects itself as a novel about a boy struggling with grief who falls in love with a girl during the 2011 London Riots. What Before the Fire is really about though, is a boy so overcome with anger and a stinging bitterness towards society that those around him are all left feeling alienated.

A concerned resident contacted me regarding cheatgrass control because of its high-fire hazard potential. He noticed that his cheatgrass had started to germinate, but wanted to use preemergence herbicides to fight the weed.
After the successful release of Before the Fire, the band recorded a self-titled EP (independently released) in 2010, which caught the attention of Earache Records founder Digby Pearson and the band was subsequently offered a record deal in November, 2010.
